OKC!

I will be in OKC on Sunday April 19th. If you are an ESTABLISHED client of mine or have ref’s I am scheduling sessions up until 6:30pm. If we have not had a session before please do NOT CONTACT me for one while I will be there.

My traveling fees differ from my local fees. Since I am running a special all this month for my established clients locally, I can only do the full hour session while there.

Local Tulsa stuff, not much about massage, lol.

Well it was an awsum weekend. We had great times at East Central HS here in Tulsa Saturday for local qualifying events to go to the state level of the Special Olympics. Not only was I a coach, but cam gal too. Them boys and girls can runnnnnn! I’m just glad I got to cut corners running around the football feild to snap those pics of the hand offfs for the 4 x 100M relay run. I am so out of shape!!! They could teach me a thing or two or three. I have uploaded pics on my myspace if anyone cares to take a peek.

Easter Sunday, we all sat around doctoring our sunburns and playing on myspace along with veiwing our new pics and videos. I learned how to upload videos. I am sooo proud of myself hehehe. My son was ecstatic to his pics and vid’s. My grand daughter Al helped too.  We had a great feast and watched movies then went to bed early.

So here it is Monday and time to get back to massaging you……

Whether the comments you leave are good or bad they just can’t be ugly or inappropriate. I am my own moderator and fail to log into my dashboard often, soooo comments aren’t checked regularly.

If you think I did a bad job please feel free to leave a comment. I am not perfect or the perfect fit for everyone. BUT you do have the right to complain and maybe by doing so I can change something that would make you consider coming back. I can’t read minds and can’t please everyone, but sometimes a lil tweaking can make a world of difference!

Customers VS. Clients? My minds eye…

The word customer sounds rather distant in comparison to the word Client to me. To each their own I suppose. I have clients that I have been seeing for years and I have gotten to know a lot about them. I do things for them I wouldn’t do for just anyone, say someone I have seen just once, but in the same respect treat them in session as I do the others. Have I ever given free sessions or did them practically for nothing, YOU BET CHA! AND will again. Clients have called and said,” Tammy, I am broke” and my response was come mon! Granted that was during great economical times. BUT would I for those who frequent and didn’t abuse it now, yup. If time allowed and they qualified for that.

There are perks for clients when they become very well established clients with me. I will drop whatever I am doing to do a session and will even come out early or late if need be. I have helped in finding comparable LMT’s when clients travel and give ref’s. I am a NON territorial provider and if I wanted you all to myself I’d marry you!  Single is good!!!

I adore my reg clients that I have gotten to know over the years and some that have come to me recently. I am just not one of those people who will say what ever they think you as a Client want to hear to get you in the door. I have reviews and a reputation that will bring new clients to me and keep those I already have. I am not burnt out on this business, but rather burnt out on the bureaucractic B.S. that goes along with it. So if I come across as callous or cold at times you now know why.

Once in session with me folks see a different side of me. This morning a reg client said to me,” your in a really good mood” and I thought about how I was. Monday was a very sad day because of the funeral I went to and who it was. Tuesday was a great day and I went to sleep with a big smile on my new pillows. Today has been a good day too with many things accomplished as well as clients scheduled.

So to you the perspective client this is what you can expect of me; and Yes I walk alone through life when the road splits and I don’t agree with everyone else because everyone else does. Good thing I enjoy my own company…

What I am about and who you are to me.

I am one of the most blunt people you will ever encounter. I live and love hard, lol. BUT by this you can assure yourself I will NEVER lie to you or string you along. Honesty to is very important and it hurts when others betray that trust. Those that know me well KNOW that I would give my last meal or dollar to them if they needed it. I’ll be the first to step up and help anyone who truly needs it with a smile on my face. Its good to help others….

When people speak of business practices I usually don’t agree with the thinking of the customer is ALWAYS right or comes FIRST. I do not think the people I see in session are customers. I see them as clients with individual needs and expectations. Sometimes I can indulge them and other times not.

Yesterday was a packed day of total fun. I saw three new clients and ran around town shopping and eating, lol. One of my final stops was to pick up a perscription for my mother as Wal-Greens. I was on the outside lane and because of my vehicle I had to get out and stand beside the Thingy to get the transaction done. While standing there the wonman in the car in the other lane went freaking psycho and began screaming obscenaties er however its spelt at the lil lady on the otherside of the window. My mouth dropped and I just stared at her. Well her not knowing me and her being full of herself screamed at me saying,” WTF are you looking at”. I took a step forward and yelled back NOT using bad words!!! The lady did her besst to keep her composure, but had started to cry. So I said before I left actually yelled it back at her, ” Are you happy now? Are you happy that tonight when you lay your head on your pillow that you made her cry”?

The two lanes of cars behind me said nothing, I guess most wouldn’t have. But me being who I am I had to. As I drove away I hit my Wal-Greens speed dial to speak with a manager to give the lady kudos for the way she handled it. The store manager said she’d relay the msg to the Pharmacy manager.

She is that situation had no choice really on how to handle the “psycho woman” either that or possibley loose her job. I OTOH don’t subscibe to that kind of thinking or run my BIZ that way.

Once I had a gent come in to my MP and and say at the counter,” Well I can go down the street and get a massage cheaper”. I came around out into the foyer and opened my front door and told him that he was LATE and kept a smile on my face the whole time. The look on his face was priceless and he then left.  It was summer and business of course was slow, but I didn’t want any of my ladies to have todeal with that kind of mentality.

I understand given the times that we all are looking for the best possible deals. BTW, Wal-Geens has awsume deals!!! I shop there often and get tons of register rewards and have a discount card for purchases!!! BUT to come in knowing what a business rate is and begin to hagle from the git go when its not a business that is set like that,,, well…..

I will have to continue this later. I have to go pick up a Cello from the school. When I start my next blog it will be about my established clients and what they mean to me and what makes them different than a customer….
